Kids will have fun, make new friends, and learn more about their faith in a safe and comfortable environment! Classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am at Camp Hill.
It’s never too early for young children to begin hearing stories of faith! 5-minute lessons during their play will offer a simple way to introduce young children to Bible stories.
Our Frolic program allows preschoolers to explore faith concepts the way they know best – through play! This is a great way to introduce your little one to the wonders of Jesus.
Our elementary program has both large group and age-level groups that teach the day’s lesson in a variety of fun and engaging ways.
This group focuses on getting your child ready for Confirmation, while still letting them have fun!
The Confirmation program is a special opportunity for students to continue their faith journey as they learn more about Christianity in the Lutheran tradition.

What time are Sunday morning Faith Formation classes held?
Sunday morning Faith Formation Preschool-12th grade classes will begin at 9:45 and run about an hour.
What does the Sunday morning schedule look like for each age level?
How much of a time commitment is required to be a children’s program teacher or substitute?
We would love as much consistency as possible for the children, but we will work around your schedule. We ask that you commit to at least 2 Sundays per month, minimum. If you would like to help but aren’t available that often, we would love to place you on our Substitute list.
What are the responsibilities of a teacher?
Each grade level small group consists of at least 2 Teachers. These teaching teams create their own schedules based on individual availability. Each week one person will be the Lead Teacher, and the other(s) will be the Assistant Teacher(s). Lead Teachers use the provided curriculum and supplies. Assistants help facilitate the lessons and encourage children to participate and engage.
What are the responsibilities of a substitute?
We will work around your schedule. If you are called in to be a Substitute, you will take on the role of Assistant Teacher that Sunday.
Do I need any experience to be a Faith Formation teacher?
If you love working with children and have the patience and kindness required for this role, then you are what we are looking for. Classroom teaching experience is always helpful but many of our volunteer staff are not classroom teachers. We require Child Abuse, Criminal, and FBI Clearances.
