Adults Music Program at Trinity

All adults programs are directed by Tim Koch, Director of Music. He can be reached at Timothy.Koch@trinitycamphill.org. Look for regular updates on our Facebook page.

Chancel Choir

Our adult Chancel Choir leads 11 am Sunday traditional worship service and sings serious music by both traditional and contemporary composers. This choir also performs in approximately 2-3 concerts per year with orchestra and various guest artists. A pleasant singing voice and some note-reading ability are required.

Rehearsal starts at 8 pm in the choir room every Thursday.

Concert Choir

If you are interested in choir, but can’t commit to the weekly rehearsal schedule of our Chancel Choir, you can join the Concert Choir. Our concert choir performs ambitious anthems and major works in two to three concerts a year with various guest artists and orchestra. Note-reading ability is required.

Rehearsal starts at 7 pm in the choir room every Thursday.

Adult Bells

We also offer an adult handbell choir. The Adult Bells require rhythmic proficiency. A commitment to attendance at rehearsals is mandatory.

Rehearsal starts at 7 pm in the Nave every Wednesday.

Summer Choir

During the Summer months, a special Summer Choir is formed. One rehearsal is held in late May, then singers rehearse before worship on their available Sundays.

Summer soloist and ensembles

While regular choirs break for the summer, soloists and ensembles are needed for services.

Instrumentalists and Accompanists

Our traditional services frequently use instruments in a solo or ensemble setting: (i.e., oboe, flute, harp, strings, percussion, bells, brass, etc.). Also, competent accompanists are needed from time to time for choir anthems.

FaithX

FaithX is the praise band that leads music at Contemporary Worship on Sunday mornings. The group includes musicians on guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums, as well as vocalists. They offer an eclectic and engaging mix of Christian music emphasizing Trinity’s worship themes, including selections from the nation’s top contemporary worship music, Christian songbooks, and Lutheran hymnbooks. Musicians are scheduled to play/sing for worship on a rotating basis. Guest musicians are also welcome! FaithX requires rhythm and pitch proficiency.

Rehearsals meet at 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall every Tuesday.
