Formerly Filey’s Nursery School. We offer a program that is child-centered and based on two dimensions of developmental appropriateness. Our curriculum provides for all areas of a child’s development: physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual. Our program emphasizes learning as an interactive process. The environment is prepared to allow children to learn through active exploration and interaction with other children, materials, and caring adults. Our activities and materials are concrete, real, and relevant to the lives of young children. Our main goal is to build each child’s self-esteem and confidence as he or she learns to participate, explore, and discover in a group situation where Christian values are fostered.
